Has anyone successfully propagated this from a cutting?

Wonderful grandiflora! This one will even grow well in partial shade. If grown in shade, the flowers are the perfect shade of orange with just a tiny bit of coral-salmon on the edges of the outer petals. Be careful though...it's extremely thorny!

Great performer in So Cal; bought it as a rescue from WalMart in a sad looking 2 gallon. Extremely strong growth, flushes of bloom most of the year, beautiful (but variable) warm bicolors, and sweet scent. Downside is the thorns; covered in huge raised ridge thorns; good barrier plant but agony to prune.

Unfortunately I've had no luck with Arizona . Barely grew, got it bare root , but just never took off. Came back second season and same thing, very small blooms that looked more like a knock out variety. Planted it in a protected area with lots of sun, still didn't do well. So had to shovel prune. Zone 6b , maybe it's the elevation, not sure, however not a strong variety. Dream come true and heart of gold far better choices if you are looking for this color variation, these two are own root for us, maybe Arizona as own root may prove to do better. Just a thought.
