Bloom:
Crimson, ages to purple .  Strong, old rose fragrance.  up to 120 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped, quartered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, well-branched.  Medium, matte, medium green foliage.  5 leaflets.  

Height: 41" to 4' (105 to 120cm).  Width: 3' (90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

in 1991 seed parent “unnamed seedling” was crossed with pollen parent ‘Ausbloom’. The seeds produced were sown Jan 1992 (Northern Hemisphere). From this seedling population, the best seedling was selected from which six buds were grafted to ‘Laxa’ rootstock. This seedling (known as ‘Ausromeo’) was further trialled and in 1994 selected for multiplication. Bud grafting was conducted each year to produce approximately 5000 plants by 1998.
First sold in UK in May 2000.

'Ausromeo' originated from a cross between two unnamed seedlings which took place at David Austin Roses, Albrighton, England in 1994. The variety was selected for its flower shape and colour, its resistance to diseases and bushy growth habit.
