Rose photo courtesy of MerylPhotographed October 2015 in Sydney Australia, this plant is on its own roots and only 18 months old, having been grown from a cutting started in April 2013. As evidence of the robustness of this rose I should mention that it grows on a back fence which gives onto a public path and that over its root area is a deep furrow of bare earth caused by the pounding feet of a greyhound and a whippet objecting to passing dogs.
