‘Margaret Turnbull’. Modern, large-flowered climber. Yellow blend. Repeat-flowering. ‘Margaret Turnbull’ produces flowers of a very soft pink with a yellow base which becomes visible as the flowers open. They are double, cupped and large, and are produced very freely in spring, rather sparsely in summer and then more abundantly in autumn. There is a slight fragrance. The foliage is pale, wrinkled and a little sparse. This is a fairly vigorous rose that is ideal for use on a pillar or tripod. Disease resistance is good. The autumn flush is attractive and the blooms show up well from a distance. Zones 4-11. Clark, Australia, 1931. Parentage unknown.
