Purple, violet shading.  Small, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.

Dark green foliage.  5 leaflets.  

Height: 2' to 32" (60 to 80cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
