'Rotfassade ®' rose Reviews & Comments

A slow grower. but very healthy foliage and there are always a few bunches of flowers visible on the plant until the first serious frost. Flowers fade from tomato red to a bluish pink in strong sunshine. But they last a very long time and then drop their petals totally, leaving nice red hips behind. Flowers are not showy but look nice and unpretentious. They do well in a more wild or natural garden. The rose tolerates a lot of heat, even against a south facing wall without any mildew nor black spot. After about six years it has now reached about 5 metres/ 16ft, still my healthiest rose. Also very frosthardy here in the middle of Germany.
