Bred by Pierre Orard (France, 1993).
Introduced in France by Roseraies Orard in 2000 as 'Hotel California'.
Introduced in United States by Edmunds' Roses in 2001 as 'Hotel California'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Amber - yellow.   (Jaune ambre).  Mild fragrance.  30 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Medium, glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 4' to 6' (120 to 185cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
