Before Lady David goes to pieces in hot weather you get this, beautiful creamy texture retaining the Malmaison tint. Maddingley Park 30 December. 2013.

Maybe at her best grown in semi-shade; exquisite colour and scent.

Lady David after having too much to drink. The whole bush looks like a big bunch of daisies, but the subtle scent and colour are unchanged. Maddingley Park in a wild wet spring.
