Page 21: All the Bloomfield roses were produced by Capt. George C. Thomas, Jr., at his home of that name in Chestnut Hill, Pa., until he removed to Beverly Hills, Calif., where he continued his hybridization until his death in 1932.

Bloomfield Decoration. (Capt. Thomas, 1925; introduced by Bobbink & Atkins, 1927.) Small, vivid pink, single flowers. A very persistent bloomer. Canes 6 feet or more.
Flowers are small and persistently produced in compact clusters of the rambler type.

Capt. Thomas classified 'Bloomfield Decoration' as a Hybrid Wichuriana in the chapter on tender climbing roses. "Cerise-pink with white center, large, single (five petals), borne in clusters... In California blooms every month of the year. Foliage absolutely perfect."
