The discoverer of this rose, as stated in US and italian (n. 1856) patents is Olij H.

This is the title of the application: "varieta' di rosa rifiorente uniflora di colore rosso porpora per coltivazione di fiore reciso in coltura protetta e per rosaio da giardino" (variety of repeating uniflora, color purple, for the cultivation of cut flowers under shelter and rosebush garden)
