HelpMeFind's future is in your hands - Please do not take this unique resource for granted.

Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.

We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.

Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..

We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.

As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.

A few references on 'Beryl Ainger':

1954 American Rose Annual
p267-7 New Roses of the World. Beryl Ainger HT. (J. D. Aigner; int. Frank Cant & Co. ’53). Sport of The Doctor. Foliage like The Doctor. Cream colored blooms.

1954 The Rose Annual
p197-1 Frank Cant & Co. advertisement. New Rose 1954. Beryl Ainger (HT). (Sport of The Doctor). Buff yellow, deepening to golden-yellow at base of petals. Similar habit of growth, form and scent to The Doctor – the most scented yellow rose. (see colored plate on page 1 of our 1954-55 catalogue.)

1957 Australian Rose Annual
p22-6 Harry Hazlewood. Some New Roses for 1957. Beryl Ainger (F. Cant, 1954). A yellow sport from The Doctor, but on its performance here seems to carry the temperamental faults of the parent. Growth was well below par and colour faded badly.

1958. The Rose Vol 7-2
p112 F. Fairbrother. The Rose Avenue at Chartwell. ….for Sir Winston and Lady Churchill’s celebration of the fiftieth wedding anniversary…. a magnificent commemorative folio in vellum and the words “The Golden Rose Avenue at Chartwell” embossed in gold on the front cover…..It is in fact, a fairly representative collection of the best yellow roses in commerce today. Two other roses produced by England hybridists find their place among the standards. They are ….and Beryl Ainger, a cream coloured sport of The Doctor raised by J. D. Aigner, which has flowers and habit of growth similar to The Doctor.
