According to the references 1) Calvino’s first name was Stefano and not Stephano; 2) Ninfa (probably by Borgatti) and not Ninfea was one of the parent of this rose; 3) the rose was bred at least in 1965 when a registration was applied in Italy

A 1969 reference says that this rose got an award in 1966 so the breeding date should be not later than that date.
