Fantastique is a novelty of the decorative type and difficult to classify. Its colour is predominantly yellow with a picotee edge of pink to crimson. It is not as floriferous for its type as it should be.

Fantastique is a frilly bloom, with carmine edges, the lower part of the petals pale yellow. There are about forty petals and a pleasing fragrance. The flowers are of medium size and quite attractive. Autumn bloom was more deeply coloured, and it should be quite popular.
