Bloom:
Yellow blend, red edges. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

1988. The Australian Encyclopedia. Australian Geographic Pty. Ltd. [Fifth edition] p1982. Gladys Moncrieff (1892-1976), singer, was born at Bundaberg, Q’ld in 1892 and first appeared profesionally at the Olympic Theatre, Townsville. While in vaudeville she was auditioned by Nellie Melba (qv), for J. C. Williamson and attained leading roles in light opera and musical comedy. In January 1921 she appeared as Teresa in Maid of the Mountains. During its two-year run she became known throughout Australia as “Our Glad”.
