This is a modern rose with a lot of class for single rose lovers, looking humble, natural and fresh but very sophisticated at the same time. Each rose is different so is not boring at all. Nothing special in spines or foliage. Some fragance but nothing special in this sense. Fruits are round and noticeable, small and red. Flowers are of good size and group nicely in short clusters. Good repeating.
With a subtle oriental beauty (reminds sometimes a japanese anemone or a peony) and a color easy to blend has lots of potential in non-formal beds mixed with other roses, grasses and perennials or in the wild margin of a pond. The shrub is vertical, short and much more easy to restrain and keep in its place than any arching wild rose. (You can use a blush/white gallica also in this case but those are a different type of creatures only from the spring. This rose suggests more a 'summer in the lake counting clouds' instead ). A good background for insect photography also.
