This has never been a rigorous rose for me, not compared to Buck roses 'Folksinger' and 'Country Dancer' in the same bed. But it has hung on and given me a few blooms throughout the growing season, and almost seven (7) years after planting, it starts to look like it might compete with the nearby Buck roses - in another year or so! I love the blooms even if I only get a few in a growing season. I have a weakness for striped roses.

In its first year in my garden the blooms had a soft , not garish striping. So far it is one of my favorite stripeys. I love the form , colors, and repeat. Stayed healthy looking a good while then later got some blackspot. We did have many clusters of rainy days last year.

This nursery name is also assigned to a different Clements rose. Not helpful!

Oh, I didn't mean to suggest your aren't helpful, Anne. I'm sorry I was unclear. I meant that nurseries that make up breeder codes should use unique names.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I did not want to be negative or disappointed. For sure I got fun to be for some help... certainly since I have lost my job and that one was so exciting. But helping you like that keeps my mind busy, and about a subject I love.
