The 1929 newspaper article from 'The Australasian' reporting on the Melbourne Spring Rose Show gives the parentage of 'Joyce Fairey' as being the same as 'Madge Taylor'. Although it doesn't specifically state the parentage, it's hard to believe that this type of information wouldn't have come from Clark himself. 'Madge Taylor's' parentage is reported elsewhere.

You're welcome. I'm getting good at discovering Clark rose parentages. ;-)
It's interesting too that Clark's 'War Paint''s parentage is also a 'Rhea Reid' seedling x unknown. I guess he had a favourite seedling from 'Rhea Reid' that produced good varieties for him.
