the rose you ascribe to alexander dickson in 1916 is not i repeat not the same rose deane ross calls red cross.his red cross is the red blend rose bred by meillands of france in 1998.please refer to david rustons listing for it all so Ross's catalogues about it when it was released several yrs ago.these two roses are then not the same.

Thank you for the heads up! 'Red Cross' seems to be a synonym for MEIsoyris used only in Australia.
