Bloom:

Dark red. None to mild fragrance. 35 to 40 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Height: 6.5" to 14" (17 to 35cm). Width: 6.5" to 10" (17 to 25cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

The present invention constitutes a new and distinct variety of miniature rose plant which originated from a controlled crossing between `POULpol` and an unnamed The unnamed seedling is an offspring of `Maria Mathilda` (a white floribunda) and `POULstar`, a white miniature rose variety by the same inventors described in U.S. Plant Pat. No. 9,016 granted on Dec. 20, 1994......`POULrac` was selected by the inventors as a single plant from the progeny of the hybridization during June, 1995.
