Bred by Paul Croix (1924-1999) (France, before 1963).
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1965 as 'Adventure'.

Hybrid Tea.  

Vermilion, silver(y) reverse.  Mild fragrance.  50 to 60 petals.  Large, very full (41+ petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Bushy, upright.  Glossy, bronze-green, leathery foliage.  

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
