From 1913 series of Wills's cigarette cards (No 99) Text on reverse of card: KONIGIN CAROLA. (Hybrid Tea.) A very floriferous garden or exhibition rose with bushy habit of growth, carrying large well-formed flowers on erect stems. Makes a charming specimen plant when grown as a standard or half-standard. Requires very little pruning, and will thrive in almost any situation. Introduced in 1904.
