The parentage, according to the patent, is [(Honor x Silver Jubilee) x Jadis]

I had 6 ultimate pinks for 4 years, this past summer I lost 3 because they became an entirely different plant.....the canes snapped off easily, they were totally thorn covered , the leaves were elongated, and the blooms changed. Eventually the whole plant was overcome and died. I wrote another email site and they asked did I live in the lower midwest (yes Zone 5b Ohio), had I seen any mites ( no but that doesn't mean they weren't there)....I answered but they never replied. I was wondering if anyone knows what changed/killed the roses?

If the canes turn red then it could have been Rose Rosette. Go to Google and search for "rose rosette" There is also a web site which has pictures of all the different rose problems. It is called Baldo Bugs.
