" ROSE D'EVIAN.
One of the handsomest Roses of recent introduction, splendid
color and substance, fitted for our trying summers, when so many
Roses fail for lack of these. It is a strong, bushy grower, with
stout stems and thick glossy green leaves. The flowers are large
and handsome, somewhat cup-shaped, but well filled and very
sweet. The color is deep rich rosy red, reverse petals of pale
amaranth ; makes extra long pointed buds, and blooms abundantly
all through the summer and fall. .See cut.)
Price, 1st size, 75c. each; 2d size, 50c. each; 3d size, 20c. each,
$2.00 per doz."
