Dingee Guide to Roses, Dingee & Conard Co., 1916, p. 28.
"This magnificent Rose, introduced here from Europe, has unsurpassed beauty of a totally distinct character, bearing large, full, deep and double flowers, on strong, erect stems. The plants are hardy and vigorous, producing flowers profusely in the open ground all through the summer. The color is almost pure white, though sometimes flushed with pink; petals large and of fine form."
