Mr. K. Cresswell, of Indooroopilly, Queensland.  The New Ones.
John F. Kennedy grows well but susceptible to mildew. The blooms are large and the outer petals tend to droop although I have seen some nice blooms at certain times of the year.

John F. Kennedy Hybrid Tea. (Boerner.) Plant Pat. 2441.
A beautiful large white rose of great style and wonderful fragrance. The long, gracefully furled buds are lemon-white. In both bud and open stage the flowers are high centered and fully double, averaging 35 to 40 broad petals. The pure white, 5 to 6-inch, open blooms hold their firm texture through all kinds of weather. Tall and upright to about 4 feet, with dark, healthy foliage. Good strong canes are crowned with bloom clusters all season. Fragrance is especially noticeable. $4 ea.— 3 or more, $3.55 ea.
