Bred by Français-André Robert (France, 1851).
Class:
Moss.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Flowers pink flushed lilac.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 2.25".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters, globular, old-fashioned bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  Mossed buds.  
Habit:
Small, medium green foliage.  

Height: 5' to 6' (150 to 185cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
