Hybrid Tea, Shrub. (Series: Renaissance ® Collection)
Bloom:
Deep pink to red. Strong fragrance. 20 to 30 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, ruffled bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, upright. Medium, glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: 31" to 4' (80 to 120cm). Width: 4' (120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

The present invention constitutes a new and distinct variety of garden rose plant which originated from a controlled crossing between `Margaret Merril` and unnamed seedling....`POULdra` was selected in the summer of 1988 by the inventors as a single plant from the aforementioned hybridization.
