These are hybrids of Rosa moschata, the Musk Rose, whereas the Lambertianas are Hybrid Multifloras. There are, however, some hybrid musks which are more adaptable for planting in clumps, say, three, four or more, according to the size of the bed. Such a one is Sammy, a thornless Rose, essentially a late autumn flowering shrub; colour carmine, flowers semi-single, trusses carried erect. The wood is claret colour. A very free flowering variety.
