Bred by André Delbard-Chabert (1915-2012) (France, before 1966).
Introduced in France by Delbard/Georges Delbard SA in 1966 as 'Agéna'.
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1972 as 'Agéna'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink, lighter outer petals, silver(y) shading.  Moderate fragrance.  25 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Very large, very double, borne mostly solitary, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Glossy, leathery foliage.  

Height: 19'8" to 32'10" (600 to 1000cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. .  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
