Pink blend. Registration name: Duc de Bordeaux (gallica, Vibert, 1820)
Bloom:
Purple, crimson shading, light pink outer petals. Large, double (17-25 petals), button-eye, rosette bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer. Glandular sepals, rounded buds.
Habit:
Medium.
Height: 39" (100cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 8b. Prune after flowering is finished.

Notes:
'Duc de Bordeaux' in gardens and commerce today does not correspond to the original. DNA analysis has shown that it is closely related to 'Fanny Bias'. - see References.
