Bred by Goinard (France, 1899).
Introduced in Australia by George Austen and Co. in 1900 as 'Alliance Franco-Russe'.

Bloom:

Yellow, salmon-yellow shading, ages to salmon-yellow . Average diameter 3.5". Large, very full (41+ petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Glandular sepals, long buds.

Habit:

Upright. Large, dark green foliage.

Height: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for cut flower or garden. Blooms tend to ball in wet weather.
