5 May 2016. Livermore, CA. Blooms don't open well in damp weather here (best in blazing heat!), but the buds alone are gorgeous.

Does anyone knows why Alba Odorata was planted in rural cemeteries? 23 May 2009 at a rural cemetery, Sonoma County, California.

7 April 2016. Livermore, CA. Here growing on a 6' cast iron fence (not visible due to thickness of foliage), this rose could be grown for foliage alone; many hedge plants don't have foliage this good! Plus, NOBODY (not even the raccoons) is going to tangle with the huge, vicious prickles on this one -- best home security device, ever!
