Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1996 as 'Centennial Star'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.   (Series: Romantica ™)  
Bloom:
Yellow blend, pink edges.  Strong fragrance.  50 to 70 petals.  Average diameter 5".  Very double, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 35" to 39" (90 to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

A new Hybrid Tea with Chartreuse Yellow blossoms that are edged with Azalea Pink.The presence of the Azalea Pink edging on the petals is influenced by the growing conditions. When forced, the blossoms tend to lack such edging. Parentage: ('Sunblest' x Korresia) x Meinarval.
