'Purple Eden ®' rose Description

Bloom:
Violet. Flowers mauve, deep smoky purple upper, same reverse.. Strong, clove, spice fragrance. 25 to 48 petals. Average diameter 3.5". Large, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters, cupped, old-fashioned bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, few or no prickles/thorns, upright. Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage. 3 to 5 leaflets.
Height: 2' to 4' (60 to 120cm). Width: up to 4' (up to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose or garden. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
