July 28, 2023. Planted 7/20 from High Country Roses band. Cage around to support the plant an keep it more upright. It tends to shoot very long canes everywhere. I cut off the lateral ones and floppy ones to maintain walking space in the bed.
Fred Loads was planted as a band from High Country Roses 7/20. Here it is at 11' tall 8/22. It is very lanky so we have a fence around it to try and prop it up. It is much bigger and a faster grower than we thought it would be so didn't leave enough space for it. It does bloom continuously through the summer in 100 degree heat but not in large flushes. Denver area.
