The Ultimate Rose Book, Macoboy, pg. 120. “…rose-pink flowers….” “…give[s] so many flowers of reasonable size -- to 6 centimeters (2 1/2 inches) -- and in clusters up to fifteen." "Foliage, is a glossy mid-green."
This dwarf rose grows to only 18 inches tall, and covers itself all season long with large clusters of lightly scented vibrant pink flowers. The color, look, ease to care for...this rose should be more readily available and in garden centers everywhere!
The June 1948 reference mentions three varieties: “They are China Doll Pinkie, and Pink Cascade.” I think there was just a comma missing after China Doll.
I would like to know where I can purchase the China Doll rose bush. The climbing variety seems to be more readily available than the regular China Doll. I want about six of them.
