Origin:
Bred by Szczepan Marczynski (Poland, 1993).
Class:
Group 2, Large-flowered, Mid-season.  
Bloom:
Violet, purple stripes.  up to 6 petals.  Average diameter 6".  Large, single, clusters bloom form.  Early-to-late summer.  
Habit:
Dark foliage.  

Height: 6'7" to 9'10" (200 to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 2a and warmer.  Compact, bushy habit.  In early spring, cut back to just above the lowest set of healthy buds.

Introduced in 2001.

Notes:
A Polish variety awarded with the silver medal at the Plantarium 2002 Arboricultural Trade Fair. It has large bicolor flowers: velvet violet with a deep purple-red bar and lighter white-purple stamens, borne from June to August. It grows up to 2,5 m.
Named after the breeder's youngest daughter Julianna.
