Bred by Unknown (before 1916).
Discovered by Dorothy Walton (United Kingdom, before 1978).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Fisk's Clematis Nursery in 1978 as 'Dorothy Walton'.

Class:

Group 3, Late Large Flowered.

Bloom:

Pink, deep pink stripes. 6 to 8 petals. Average diameter 4". Single, star-shaped bloom form.

Habit:

Height: 10' to 12' (305 to 365cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 4b through 9b. Plant in sun or partial shade. This plant blooms on the current season's growth. In early spring, cut back to just above the lowest set of healthy buds.
