... semi-double, bell-shaped, mauvish blue flowers... four narrow, twisted tepals, each 5-6 cm (2-2.25 in.) long... The inner skirt of petal-like staminodes is a paler blue on the outside and surrounds a creamy white centre of stamens. The main flush of flowers is on old wood... some late summer blooms...
