HelpMeFind's future is in your hands - Please do not take this unique resource for granted.
Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.
We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.
Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..
We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.
As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.

Book (Nov 1994) Page(s) 183. Frühlingsmorgen Kordes, Germany, 1941. A hybrid of 'E. G. Hill' x 'Cathrine Kordes' crossed with Rosa pimpinellifolia Grandiflora'. I hesitate to claim that this is the most beautiful of all roses with single (five-petalled) flowers: there are so many claimants. But appraising a flowering spray can easily suggest that here is a rare example of the breeder's art which equals if it does not eclipse nature's best efforts. Apart from the beauty of the clear rose-pink large petals which pass to clear, pale yellow in the centre, the flowers have the incomparable attraction of maroon coloured filaments and anthers. It usually gives a crop of flowers in late summer as well as the generous mass in the spring. The bush is on the sparse side, leaves leaden green. 6 feet by 5 feet. A few large, maroon-red heps are produced. [best illustration] Austin, page 258

Book (1993) Page(s) 62. In the 1930s, Kordes produced the lovely large shrubs which share the prefix 'Frühlings' (spring) by crossing the 'Burnet Rose' with Hybrid Teas. All do well on sandy soils and in cold gardens where most roses grow poorly.
