The reference "Rosenjahrbuch, Book (2017) Page(s) 25". is not correct. Baby Château is not mentioned in that book!

Wrong year, the reference is taken from a Google snippet which states 1968, but could well be an adjacent year.

Danke, habe ich gefunden. Victor Teschendorff, Dresden, nennt in seinem Rosenkatalog von 1936, Aroma x Hamburg als Eltern.

I just came across the entry for 'Baby Chateau' in the Kordes 1936 catalogue when it was introduced and they themselves give the parentage as 'Aroma' x 'Hamburg'. Their 1935 catalogue also gives a parentage for 'Hamburg' as 'Eva' x 'Daily Mail Scented Rose'.

From this discussion at the Heritage Rose Foundation forum, it seems like Baby Chateau is no longer extant at the Cranford.

I inquired about this a few years ago. Yes, it's a real shame.
