This is one of my all time favorites. I have six roses in a group of pots. Memorial day stood out because it was the only one in the group that never had powdery mildew, or any kind of disease or pests. The blooms are huge, and the fragrance is intense. The buds start out looking like a peony, and when they open up they look more rose like. The time from bud until the petals start falling off is longer than any rose in my garden. Overall it is very easy to grow, and it blooms often.
