Aug. 8/04, HERE IS A REPORT FROM "Paparoseman" from 'GardenWeb' :
I was just at the local rose garden and saw this rose in person. Very Very strong grower, the new canes from this years growth are between five and six feet tall. The total height of the four bushes is around six to eight feet tall each. They only bloom at the ends of the canes so this is a great rose to peg down for more blooming. Without pegging it has some good blooms of pure white and the bush is just over three feet wide at four feet tall and they were very clean from blackspot and had little to no mildew and are rarely if ever sprayed. The flowers really looked good after the inch plus of rain we had in the last two days. They looked much better than many of the pinks and reds and had very little spotting.
+++++++++++++++++++ Next 2 reports by G. Mander ++++++++++++++++++ 'Canadian White Star' (CWS) can stand days of rain before petals spot. It is also one of just a few dozens HT’s in the world with excellent mildew and blackspot resistance.
