Origin:
Bred by Pierre Rousseau (France, 1839).
Introduced in France by Pierre Rousseau in 1841 as 'Perpétuelle Rousseau'.
Class:
Damask Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Red, violet-red reverse.  Crown center.  Strong, damask fragrance.  115 to 130 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, very full (41+ petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Rounded.  Medium foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.
