'A Lady Never Tells' rose Description

Bloom:
Golden-yellow, carmine-red edges, ages to red . Moderate, citrus, lemon, rose, tea fragrance. Average diameter 4". Double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, exhibition, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy. Medium, glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.
Height: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm). Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6a and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, exhibition or garden. Drought resistant. heat tolerant. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
