Bloom:
Lilac, mauve , ages to violet . None to mild, fruity fragrance. 10 to 15 petals. Average diameter 1". Medium to large, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters, button-eye bloom form. Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season. Medium, fragrant buds.
Habit:
Medium, well-branched. Medium, semi-glossy, blue-green, edged purple-red foliage.
Height: 30" to 42" (75 to 105cm). Width: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).
Growing:
Can be used for beds and borders, garden or landscape. Vigorous. does not do well in warmer climates. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, susceptible to blackspot , mildew resistant, susceptible to rust . Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Feed this rose well.
