Origin:
Bred by Louis Xavier Joseph Miellez père (France, circa 1838). Bred by Jacques Plantier (France, before 1840).
Class:
China / Bengale, Tea.  
Bloom:
Salmon-orange or cream, buff center, salmon-pink center.  Large, very double, cupped, cupped-to-flat bloom form.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
This 'Jeannie Deans' should not be confused with the purplish pink China of the same name. Both roses were named for a character in Sir Walter Scott's The Heart of Midlothian. There is also another China named 'Don Carlos'.
