Bred by Pierre Oger (France, 1849).
Class:
Bourbon.  
Bloom:
Violet-red, crimson flecks.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Large buds.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  Large, medium green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  
Growing:
Can be used for container rose.

Notes:
Denys Auguste Affre (September 27, 1793 Saint-Rome-de-Tarn, Aveyron - June 27, 1848 Paris), was the 126th archbishop of Paris from 1840-1848. He was killed during the revolution of 1848 while he tried to appease the rebels at the rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine.
