Breeder's notes:
This rose has beautiful burgundy foliage in the spring and all new growth is also burgundy. This rose makes a nice landscape plant even when not in bloom. The blooms open slowly and are very long lasting even in the summer heat. This rose is named for my friend Vernon Harris who is President of the Bastrop County Rose Society who loves red roses.
