Origin:
Bred by Andrew Barocco (United States, 2013).
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Violet-red or fuchsia / magenta, lemon-yellow center.  Single to semi-double, borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Decorative buds.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, dense, mounded, upright, well-branched.  Medium, glossy, grey-green, dense, edged purple-red foliage.  
Growing:
Can be used for beds and borders, garden, hedge, landscape or shrub.  Very vigorous.  can be grown as a shrub.  drought resistant.  heat tolerant.  produces decorative hips.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.

Notes:
Excellent maker of hips when controlled crosses are made. This rose appears to be strongly self-incompatible because I've never seen an OP bloom make a hip. The stigma pads remain receptive and moist for a long period of time. From what I have observed so far, this rose is not a good pollen parent.
